Who had the biggest influence on your career & why?

Definitely my first manager at NBC. He encouraged me to continually educate myself in this ever-changing industry, and taught me never to be limited by convention.

What drove your decision to get into the marketing business?

Angela Bower – the character from 'Who's the Boss.' An ad executive who graduated from Harvard Business School, drove a Jaguar and had a male housekeeper – she had a thing going for her.

What are you most proud of – your finest hour?

Working on my first North American, product-launch campaign. Developing a strategy to bring a new product line to life was both thrilling, rewarding and reminded me why I value sleep.

What was your most embarrassing career moment? (marketing business)

Walking into a clear, glass door on the way out of a client meeting. I still blame excessive use of Windex as the guilty party.

What attracted you to DMN3?

Passionate people. It was easy to see each employee at DMN3 has a conviction for the industry. Their hunger for creativity, and drive for excellence is infectious.

What is your method for developing creative solutions for your clients?

A stiff drink and lots of ink.

In your opinion, what makes a great brand?

Quality, vision and consistency. A great brand contributes to the fabric of its target audience through a blend of art and science.

What driving career goals are you still pursuing?

I would love to produce a commercial for Sportscenter – they combine sports and humor in the best way possible.

Name at least one talent that you wish you could master?

Golf. After a few recent lessons, I have come to the conclusion that the hole is entirely too small for the ball.

If you were marooned on a desert island, what would you miss most?

My bed – I value my beauty rest.

I grew up in Columbus, Ohio - my loyalty lies with the Buckeyes.
