Who had the biggest influence on your career & why?

My mother – she always strived to teach my sisters and I to work hard and give 110% to everything we do. She taught us to be independent, not to wait around for someone to do things for us. She always said if you want something done right, you have to do it yourself. Because of her influence, I have confidence to accomplish anything I set my mind to as long as I work hard and give it my absolute best. She also told me that being a woman and a minority in the business world has many challenges but also a few perks.

What drove your decision to get into the marketing business?

In the marketing world, there is never a dull moment. Everyday is challenging. You are allowed to be creative and encouraged to come up with unique ideas on a daily basis.

What are you most proud of – your finest hour?

The day I tried out for a contest to be the new face of a local Spanish television station. It was challenging because I had to go outside my comfort zone. My marketing experience came in handy when I had to create a 30-second commercial for Campbell's Soup. I was terrified, but I proved to myself that I could do it.

What attracted you to DMN3?

I was attracted to DMN3 because it is a woman-owned business. Being in this environment and seeing a woman be successful in a man's business world helps me focus and motivates me to reach my career goals in the marketing world.

In your opinion, what makes a great brand?

A great brand is one that can create an emotional link with its audience.

What driving career goals are you still pursuing?

I would like to be in a position that would allow me to be involved in International Marketing. The idea of being able to travel abroad, research, plan and coordinate activities in other countries inspires me. It would ultimately allow me to become familiar with other social, economic, and political situations around the world.

Name at least one talent that you wish you could master?

Latin Dancing.

What food helps you think creatively?

I would have to say dried fruit. But let's not forget Laffy Taffy – grape and strawberry are my favorite.

When you're not working, what do you do for fun?

I love to go dancing, especially Salsa, Bachata and Raggaeton. I haven’t quite mastered any one of them, but I am definitely working on it. I also like to visit Mexico; I love the rich culture and atmosphere.
