Who had the biggest influence on your career & why?

A marketing professor at NYU gave me a great deal of insight into marketing, career guidance and confidence.

What drove your decision to get into the marketing business?

I liked that (Direct) Marketing involves both creative and analytical skills. I love the creative side, but am stronger on the analytical side. This way I get to use both sides of the brain!

What are you most proud of – your finest hour?

I am most proud of my 3 children and how great they are!

Share a great client story.

A client hired me to buy the lists and produce the mailing for a seminar that he was giving. He asked what percent response I thought we'd get. I didn't know, so I told him about 1.5 - 2% is average. He was extremely pleased when we pulled an 8%!

What attracted you to DMN3?

DMN3 is a dynamic and innovative company. The people are all very experienced, hardworking and professional, but love to have fun too!

What is your method for developing creative solutions for your clients?

Brainstorming and testing, testing, testing.

In your opinion, what makes a great brand?

One that inspires customer loyalty and/or has name recognition like Kleenex, Coke and Xerox.

What driving career goals are you still pursuing?

To continue to learn and improve my skills and knowledge in all aspects of marketing.

Name at least one talent that you wish you could master?

I enjoyed painting when I was younger and would like to take it up again someday.

If you were marooned on a desert island, what would you miss most?

My family, friends and dog.

What food helps you think creatively?

Pistachio nuts.

What is your favorite sports team & why?

Stratford Spartans and any team my kids play on!

Name your biggest frustration.

Waiting, whether it is for an appointment or in traffic (I cannot stand to sit idle!).

Tell us about your pets.

We have a Yorkshire Terrier named "Rilla" (short for Gorilla). She is my 4th child!

Describe your childhood and include where you grew up.

I grew up on Long Island, NY. When I was a kid, my parents would take me into Manhattan for the afternoon. I always was in awe of the buildings and thought it would be really cool to get a job working in "the city". After college, I worked in Manhattan for 5 years before moving to Houston.

What is your all-time favorite TV program?

The old Saturday Night Live with Chevy Chase, John Belushi, Gilder Radner and Eddie Murphy.

When you're not working, what do you do for fun?

I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, watching my kids play sports, going to the beach and working out. I also do a lot of volunteer work and (try to find time to) read books.

Name your three favorite websites.

Facebook, Pandora and DMN3.
